VANCOUVER

Dec.17, 2010

The Canucks received good news today as defenseman Christian Ehrhoff returned to team practice Friday morning. He was hit by a puck in the side of the head by Anaheim Ducks defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky's dump-in attempt.

He required stitches and was suspected of having a mild concussion. However, after further examination, Ehrhoff did not have a concussion, but instead vertigo (inner-ear problem causing sight difficulties). Certainly, this is a good sign and head coach Alain Vigneault said today that his German defenseman will be a game-time decision Saturday against the Maple Leafs.

Thanks for reading.
