2011 NHL All-Star Game Draft Live Blog

Hello out there! We are on the air with the All-Star Game draft tonight!
My name is Chris Minniti and I am a Featured Columnist for the Detroit Red Wings here on Bleacher Report and will be live blogging the goings on for the draft.
Some story lines heading into this game contain quite the drama.
As you all know, the two captains are Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings, and Eric Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes, which is also where the All-Star Game is being held.
Their alternate captains are Patrick Kane and Martin St. Louis for Team Lidstrom and Mike Green and Ryan Kesler for Team Staal.
Back to the story lines.
With Martin St. Louis an alternate captain for Team Lidstrom, is he going to want to try and grab Steven Stamkos?
Will Lidstrom elect to try and choose the strong Swede contingent represented here this weekend?
Will the Sedin twins be facing off against each other for the first time in their lives?
Will Eric Staal try to get younger brother Marc on his team?
Will Eric try to draft Cam Ward, who is his fellow teammate on Carolina?
With Kane having a higher role this time, will he tell Lidstrom to avoid fellow teammate on Chicago, Jonathan Toews?
I will cover these and many other story lines as the draft heats up.
The draft is slated to take place at 8:00pm ET so join me for live up to the minute coverage on this year's NHL All-Star Game draft!
