Vancouver Canucks Role Players Not Generating Energy for the Team

Posted 11/22/2010 - 23:32 by HockeyPolls

When the Canucks pulled off seven wins in eight games between October 22 and November 13, there was one thing that was consistent: the Canucks played with energy and an aggressive game of hockey.

In recent games, the Canucks have moved away from this method and are losing as a result. Instead of coming out with all guns blazing, they have played to not lose and seemed content to be carried by the game rather than taking charge and carrying the game.

They currently sit at 11th with 24 points, having played anywhere from one to three games more than most of the teams in their conference.

Vancouver Canucks: So who becomes the Sedins Line Mate?

As I donned my coach’s hat last night and started to think of the return of Daniel Sedin to the lineup on Sunday, I began to contemplate, "who is best suited to play on that line?" There are certainly no shortage of players that have earned that right, like Mikael Samuelsson and Mason Raymond.
