The Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres will play Game Five in Philadelphia tonight.

The series has almost been more entertaining off the ice than on the ice so far. That could change tonight though.

Tempers have been flaring following Game Four and the controversial major penalty to Flyers' captain Mike Richards for elbowing.

Here are the reasons that tonight's game could get very interesting.

The Buffalo Sabres were able to take home ice advantage from the Philadelphia Flyers by grinding one out in a 1-0 victory. 

Ryan Miller made 33 saves on his way to his second career shutout. Patrick Kaleta had the games lone goal off of a rebound in the third period.

Nobody can learn to trash-talk, or practice trash-talking. It is something that people are just naturally good at, some more than others.

Some players have mastered the art of trash-talking and agitating in general. Sean Avery is known all around the National Hockey League as one of the best in the NHL, but sometimes, like most agitators or "goons," he crosses the line.

Here is my opinion on the latest news around the NHL.

David Perron has signed a two-year contract extension with the St. Louis Blues that will earn him a total of $4.3 million in that time span.

In my opinion, that is a good signing for the Blues. Perron is a good offensive contributor who has a lot of upside and still has potential, and a $2.15 million cap hit is not bad at all.

The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed agitator Patrick Kaleta to a two-year deal. Terms of the contract are unknown at this time.

Love to play with him, hate to play against him.

When the Buffalo Sabres drafted Patrick Kaleta with the 176th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, they knew that they were getting a hard-hitting grinder who may put up 10 points a season, but they didn’t know they were drafting the league’s best agitator.

Who is this guy and what have they done with the real Patrick Kaleta? Three goals in the last two games...with no time in the hot box! It took No. 36 26 games to get to three goals and now he's a scoring machine.

November was busy month for Kaleta being sent away for 37 minutes. He's up to 11 PIM midway through December but hasn't committed a crime in the past two games. That isn't necessarily unheard of, but couple that with scoring three goals! In fact five of the past twelve goals have come from the third line. Not too shabby!
