When Jamie Langenbrunner was traded on Jan. 7, everyone thought he was the lucky one. It was only fitting that on the evening of his 1,000th career NHL game that Jamie Langenbrunner would play a major part in the Dallas Stars' 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

The 16-year NHL veteran was honored during pregame ceremonies as he was joined by his children on ice and was presenting with a silver stick from close friend and former teammate, Joe Nieuwendyk.

According to The Delaware County Times, the Philadelphia Flyers are interested in acquiring Jamie Langenbrunner from the New Jersey Devils. Suspicion broke out when Langenbrunner was scratched Thursday night against the Flyers, and it looks like there is more to this story than people think.
