How Much Is Bobby Ryan Worth To The Anaheim Ducks?

At 23, Anaheim Ducks wing Bobby Ryan is just entering the prime of his career. He's coming off an impressive season in which his 35 goals led the injury-plagued Ducks.

But Ryan is staring at free agency, and wants new paper.

There have been a lot of rumors floating around, including years and dollar amounts, but reality is that Ryan doesn't have a new deal in place yet. Both sides would like Ryan to stay put, but they need to get on it for him to stay a Duck.

Prior to this announcement, Kariya was being pursued by friend and former teammate Teemu Selanne to join him in signing with the Anaheim Ducks.

Anaheim Ducks: Three Keys To Success This Season

Posted 08/22/2010 - 06:19 by HockeyPolls

This is a new 30 part series I will be doing for each and every team. Most days I will only do one but some days you might see two or three teams done, so stay tuned.

In no particular order here are the Anaheim Ducks three keys to success this season.

Penalty Kill

The Anaheim Ducks were 24th in the NHL last season killing off just 79.3% of their penalties. If the Ducks can jump up into the top 15 it will dramatically increase their chances of making the playoffs.

NHL Fantasy Analysis: Anaheim Ducks

This is a 30 part series that my partner Joseph Trenton (Canucks writer at MTRMedia) and I will be doing. This will be a team by team fantasy analysis that will bring you predictions for 23 players on each team for all the main categories.

My predictions along with the format:

All predictions are based on if the player were to play all 82 games.

Player Format = G-A-P

Duck Hunting: What Players Can Anaheim Add To Their Roster?

The Anaheim Ducks recently re-signed superstar forward Teemu Selanne to a one year, $3.25 million dollar contract. Selanne will rejoin fellow countryman Saku Koivu on the Ducks second line. There is still much speculation as to who will be the left wing on the second line.
