Moments after the Chicago Blackhawks had defeated the Flyers in the 2010 Cup Final, a NBC reporter tracked down one of the more colorful characters on the Hawks, Adam Burish to ask him to divulge his true feelings regarding Chicago's new public enemy, Chris Pronger.

In case you have forgotten, here is what was said.

Sean Avery and the Best Trash Talkers in the NHL

It is an art and it is a skill.

Nobody can learn to trash-talk, or practice trash-talking. It is something that people are just naturally good at, some more than others.

Some players have mastered the art of trash-talking and agitating in general. Sean Avery is known all around the National Hockey League as one of the best in the NHL, but sometimes, like most agitators or "goons," he crosses the line.

A Summary of the Chicago Blackhawks' Offseason Moves

Curious about what the Chicago Blackhawks have done so far since winning the Stanley Cup last month? Wondering what the variety of moves the Hawks have made during this period means to the future of the team? Take a look below to find out.

The following is a list of moves that the Blackhawks have made during this offseason to date.

They are listed in trade or acquisition groupings.

It's Already Been a Busy Off-Season For the Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars finished their disappointing season 12th in the Western Confernece. Inconsistency plagued the team as, late in the year, their playoff dreams faded fast.

When a team misses the playoffs, the main job for the GM is to bring in players or coaches that will help the team have a better shot at making the playoffs next season. Dallas has very limited cap room and were expected to be fairly silent during free agency.

The Cup Has Been Won: What's Next for the Chicago Blackhawks?

Posted 06/14/2010 - 16:42 by HockeyPolls

The champagne and beer have barely dried on the Stanley Cup and it’s already time to start thinking about a repeat in Chicago. The Blackhawks have the talent and the youth, for the most part, so you would think that there would be nothing holding them back from repeating as Stanley Cup champs next season.

2010 Stanley Cup: Nine Things I Noticed About Chicago's Title Win in Game Six

First things first: Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks, their owners, management team, and most of all their fans!

The Hawks deserve the win and it was nice to see an original-six team who has not won the cup in 49 years, hoist Lord Stanley's mug.

Congratulations also goes to the Flyers organization and their fans for a well fought series and a great run.

OK, so niceties aside, here are nine things that I noticed about Wednesday night's Game Six:

1. The winning goal was the weakest goal of the playoffs

2010 Stanley Cup Finals: Time for Chicago Blackhawks To Seal the Deal

I have to admit, I hadn’t watched a lot of hockey prior to watching the first five games of the Stanley Cup Finals involving the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers.  Being a big Chicago Bears fan and writer, I thought that it would be nice to follow one of the other teams in Chicago and cheer them on to a championship but I got a lot more than I expected tuning into game one of the Stanley Cup Finals.

2010 Stanley Cup Finals: Championship Experience Key for Blackhawks

Tab will be covering the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals as a credentialed member of the media, bringing in-depth coverage of the championship games to Bleacher Report throughout the series.

On Saturday night, when the puck drops in Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals, it will be a new experience for a majority of the fans in the United Center.  After all, it’s been 18 years since the last time the Blackhawks hosted a Finals game, and 49 since they won a championship.

And yet, for the youngest team in the NHL, it’s nothing special.

Blackhawks Go Into Vancouver Looking For a Win

After a very dramatic game two at the United Center, the Hawks now have to travel to Vancouver in hopes of stealing a game to take back home-ice advantage.

It wasn't easy for the Hawks the two games they were home after they were handed a 5-1 stomping in game one, but, even though the Canucks went up 2-0 early in game two, the Hawks' different mindset helped them regain composure and pick up the 4-2 win in dramatic fashion.

Blackhawks Must Push Back Against Canucks in Game Two

Posted 05/03/2010 - 17:44 by HockeyPolls

Game two of the Chicago Blackhawks versus Vancouver Canucks series starts tonight, and after a spanking in the first game, the Hawks must push back and win this game two at home.

A loss tonight would certainly be the Hawks' undoing as I don't see them going into Vancouver and winning both games. Even if they win one in Vancouver they'll still be down 3-1, and Vancouver is too good of a team to let the Hawks come back from 3-1.
